| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3 lbs chicken, uncooked | 3 T oil | 1 onion, sliced |
| 1 can bamboo shoots, sliced | 1/2 cup sugar | 3/4 cup soy sauce |
| 3/4 cup hot water and mushroom liquid | 1 can mushrooms | 1 lb bean sprouts |
| 5 green onions, sliced | 1 tofu, cubed | |
| 1 | Bone chicken. Fry in hot oil. Add onion and bamboo shoots. Add 3 T sugar, 1/4 cup soy and 1/2 cup water mushroom liquid. Boil 5 minutes. Add mushrooms, sprouts, and onions. Continue cooking. Stir in remaining sugar, soy and liquid a little at a time. Add tofu. Cook 10 to 15 minutes. |
