Halve each pear and core. Then cut into 1/8" slices. Set aside. |

FOR THE DRESSING: Combine the olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper to taste in a small bottle and shake well. |

Bake the walnut halves at 375 for 15 minutes. |

In a saute pan, melt the honey and toss in the walnuts while still hot. Spread honeyed walnuts on a cookie sheet to cool. |

Toss the greens with the dressing. |

Place 5 pear slices each plate in a star arrangement, with the points of the star touching the rim of the plate. Sprinkle Gorgonzola and honeyed walnuts over the greens and pears. |
