| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened | 1/2 cup finely snipped fresh chives | 2 tbsp frozen lime juice concentrate, thawed |
| 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme or 1/2 tsp ground thyme | ||
| 1 | Use ligthly saleded or unsalted butter, according to your preference. You may even use margaine, but the taste will probably not be as rich. When butter has reached room temperature, beat all ingredients in a small bowl. Transfer mixture in the shape of a 12-inch log onto a piece of freezer paper or plastic wrap and roll up, twisting the ends of the paper like a party popper to seal. Refrigerate until firm or freeze. Yields about a dozen 1 tsp pats. |
