| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 small tart apples, peeled, cored and cut into wedges | 1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice | 1/2 cup sugar |
| 1 teaspoon cornstarch | 1 cup low-fat milk | 1/2 cup red-hot cinnamon candies |
| 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt, stirred | ||
| 1 | In a blender or food processor fitted with a metal blade, combine apple wedges and lemon juice. Process until pureed; set aside. In medium saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in milk and cinnamon candies. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until mixture simmers. Cook and stir 1 minute longer or until cinnamon candies are dissolved. Remove from heat; stir in pureed apples. Cool; stir in yougurt. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions. |
