| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 lb ground beef | 1/2 cup uncooked rice | 2 tbsp chopped green pepper |
| 1 tbsp finely chopped onion | 1 clove garlic, finely chopped | 1/2 tsp salt |
| 1/2 tsp celery salt | 2 cups tomato juice | 2 whole cloves |
| 1/2 tsp cinnamon | 1 tbsp sugar | 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 | Combine beef, rice, green pepper, onion, garlic, salt, and celery salt. Form into balls about 1-1/2 in. in diameter. Heat tomato juice, cloves, cinnamon, sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a skillet. Drip in meat balls. Cover tightly; simmer 50 to 60 minutes. |
