Dewey Beef and Rice Balls "Little Porcupines"

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb ground beef 1/2 cup uncooked rice 2 tbsp chopped green pepper
1 tbsp finely chopped onion 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp celery salt 2 cups tomato juice 2 whole cloves
1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce



1 Combine beef, rice, green pepper, onion, garlic, salt, and celery salt. Form into balls about 1-1/2 in. in diameter. Heat tomato juice, cloves, cinnamon, sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a skillet. Drip in meat balls. Cover tightly; simmer 50 to 60 minutes.
