| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 cup margarine, softened | 1/2 cup sifted confectioner's sugar | 1 tsp vanilla extract |
| 2-1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour | 1/2 cup peanut butter | 1/2 tsp salt |
| 3/4 cup finely chopped peanuts | butter frosting, confectioner's sugar, or melted chocolate bits optional | |
| 1 | In large mixing bowl, cream margarine and peanut butter. Blend in confectioner's sugar, salt, and vanilla. Gradually add flour and peanuts; mix well. Roll into 1-in balls and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in moderate 375 F. oven 12 minutes or until lightly browned. If desired, frost with butter frosting, roll in confectioner's sugar, or dip in melted chocolate bits. |
