| 2 pkgs frozen asparagus | 2 (7-oz) cans tuna fish | 3 tbsp butter |
| 3 tbsp flour | 1/2 tsp salt | dash of pepper |
| 1-1/2 cups milk | 1 cup grated process cheese | 2 tbsp slivered almonds |
| 1 | Cook asparagus. Drain and arrange in baking dish. Drain and flake tuna; place on top of asparagus. Melt butter; blend in flour. Add salt and pepper. Stir in milk. Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Add cheese and stir until melted. Pour over tuna. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 350 F. for 30 minutes. |
