| 2 ounces Scotch | 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth | dash of angostura bitters, optional |

| 1 | Combine the Scotch, vermouth, and bitters, if using, in a cocktail shaker with ice and stir to chill. Strain into a small cocktail or martini glass. Twist the lemon peel over the drink, drop it in, and serve. |
