| 2 egg whites | 2/3 cup sugar | 1 teaspoon vanilla |
| 1 cup nuts, chopped | 1 6-ounce package chocolate or caramel chips | |
| 1 | Beat egg whites as stiffly as possible. Add sugar slowly. Add remaining inggedients. Drop on wax paper on cookie sheet. Place in preheated 450 degree oven. Turn off oven and let stand overnight or 4 or 5 hours. |
